Introduction
QSL Managers is a very flexible program for the serious DXer that
wishes to have the QSL Managers Information of the DX station worked
at his/her fingertips.
How to Start:
Load the .ZIPed files in your hard disk in a directory you have made
under the name of QSL and decompress them (unzip or Alt +F6 of Norton V4).
In the first diskette is the software you need to run the program, in
the second the data with over 55,000 QSL managers and addresses. A new
data disk is available every month with changes, new entries and/or
deletions.
When you decompress both the diskettes in the same directory, you are
ready to run the program. You may decompress the program only in an
other directory and create your oun database. You will be needing some
20 MB of disk space, for both programm and data files. To continue just
type QSL.
You will have a screen that has options 1. for the main menu and 2.
rebuild Item selection # 2 . is very seldom used. It is to rebuild
your data and index files in case of power failure usually. So you
just press # 1. option to go into the main menu.
If you use a colour monitor you will not have any problems. If you use
a monochrome you might get a blank screen (not always). If you get a
blank screen press ESC reply Yes to the question if you wish to exit
an then type as: C:\QSL>mode CO80 and then QSL again.

Next to the callsign there is a number. This number indicates that
previous entries have been made but you are always looking at the most
recent. I.E. if the number is 005 it means that there are 5 entries
for this call and you are looking at the most recent one. Press F1 to
look at previous managers for the same call.
